E-BAY RULES & COPYRIGHT INFORMATION
All of our auctions comply with e-bay.com rules and regulations on the sale of movies on recordable DVD format and US Law under "The Berne Convention".
We DO NOT sell movies on that are currently in print on DVD format by movie companies.
The Berne Convention states that films previously unreleased in the United States, including versions of films that have been released in the United States but altered and / or edited for release elsewhere, are not protected by American copyright, thus, they are considered public domain.
All our DVD’s have been sourced from non-US sources (i.e. European digital tv broadcasts, laserdiscs, VHS tapes and 16mm prints or out of print foreign sources whose licenses have expired) and are sold for "Collector's Use Only" and as such, are not subject to the jurisdiction of American copyright laws.
The artwork supplied does not have any film companies trademarked logo on it, even if the film was originally released many years ago by a major studio. The only logo we have on our artwork is the standard DVD logo, which is trademark and copyright free.
Should one of our titles happen to become available through a licensed domestic release we immediately stop offering it for sale.
